• Welcome to Buzz Teamz, thank you for stopping by.

My name is Monika Kajtar and I’m the Founder of Buzz Teamz and the lead buzz-maker here.

I’m a qualified online course creation specialist and course facilitator with over 10 years of experience in creating and delivering courses.

I can help you to create your online courses, set up the tech, and launch with great success

  • I’m going out on a limb here by saying this, but it feels like teaching and education is part of my DNA. I’ve always wanted to be a teacher, although when I was young, I thought I would be following Mum’s footsteps into primary education (I even have a primary school teacher degree). Even my first name, Monika, is supposedly derived from the Latin word for instruct and advise.

After graduating as a primary school teacher though, I quickly realised that my real calling was working with adults, so I have gotten my Masters in Human Resource Management and right after graduation I’ve topped it with an amazing course in training facilitation.

My entire career revolved around adult education in the past 18 years. Even when my actual job title was a bit different, tasks like running training sessions and teaching people skills have always found me.

I’ve spent over ten years in various adult-education-related roles, like working at a University, or supporting teams all over the globe as a Learning and Development professional.

I’ve created hundreds of training sessions and courses, delivered them live in a classroom setting, in a virtual classroom and completely remotely. The number of training hours I’ve delivered both live and virtually is in the thousands. Even when I didn’t find the subject matter particularly exciting, working with people and witnessing the positive change in their professional lives always lit me up and propelled me forward.

My passion for high-quality courses and training interventions, however, wasn’t always aligned with the corporate vision. Once it became a game of numbers over quality and transformation, I realised that I needed to find a different way to serve and support my learners.

And this is how Buzz Teamz came to life. Working as an employee this long, and transitioning into entrepreneurship in my forties gave me a unique perspective.

I know where you are coming from, because I’ve been there too, not even that long ago. I’m very familiar with the desire of breaking free and pursuing something that is my own, and wrestling with all the gremlins that come with that territory.

But most importantly, I know how to create a course that hits the mark. The one that engages your learners, helps them to achieve the transformation they’re looking for, solving their problems. And I would like to help you to do the same thing.

When you work with me, you can be sure that we are not just talking about the course you are creating. Creating a course is as much about you as an individual as it is about your business, your knowledge and experience. When I’m working with you, I see you for that wonderful, unique being who you are, and will help you through the tough bits when you need help and support.

  • You might want to know this about me...

(...after all, we are more than just our businesses and jobs...)

    I'm an Adventure Seeker

I LOVE travelling and immersing myself in new experiences, locations, foods, sounds and smells. Trust me, this past year in lockdown and quarantine wasn’t easy on me either.

    ...and a small-town girl

I’m a small-town girl, so after 13 years in London, I’ve decided to pack up and leave. You can find me in Kent these days. Still close enough to London, in case the mood strikes, but surrounded with nature, leafy trees, lakes with ducks, swans and geese.

    A real book-worm,...

Reading is one of my favourite past-time and I love my collection of inspirational books (I’ve got two arriving today, as I’m writing these words - and this happens all the time). I usually have at least 3-4 books at hand that I'm reading simultaneously.

    ...and a ukulele enthusiast

I started to learn to play the ukulele when I was 39. Calling myself an intermediate-level player is probably a bit too ambitious, but I love the process of learning this new skill and I’ve totally developed UAS (Ukulele Acquisition Syndrome). It’s scary how long one can spend searching for new ukuleles, but I’m immensely proud that I only own three (so far…).

    A scribe...

I love writing as well. I wanted to be a novelist for a long time, and who knows, it may happen one day. But when it comes to figuring out my next product or working my way through some challenging emotions, writing is always my first choice of solution. It helps me organise my thoughts and feelings and figure out the way forward. It also gives me an excuse to buy beautiful planners and stationery...you can never have enough of those, right?

    and a (somewhat reluctant) minimalist

Despite my love for new books, planners and ukuleles, I’m a bit of a minimalist, deep down. It’s probably because I’ve spent 8 months travelling the world and living out of a suitcase, and that changed my perspective on my worldly possessions. I’m not an extreme minimalist, but I really pay attention to what I’m allowing into my life these days.

Actually, I even wrote an article about my minimalist journey. Click here to read it!
